PKR Partners with Maxymiser to Take the Gamble out of its Website


Next generation online poker operator adopts conversion management solutions from Maxymiser to help improve customer acquisition through compelling online content.

PKR, the next generation online poker operator, today announces that it has signed a contract with conversion management expert Maxymiser to improve its online user experience in a bid to drive up customer acquisition.

Utilising Maxymiser’s technology and consultancy services, PKR will be able to trial different layouts, sequences and content across its website in order to determine which content has the most positive effect in improving conversion performance. The initial testing is focused on the homepage, where PKR believes it will see the most dramatic results, and is focused on engaging new users to click through to the download stage.

As Simon Prodger, Marketing Director at PKR explains, “At PKR, we are continually looking to enhance our online presence in order to provide our customers with the best possible experience whilst also driving customer acquisition. When we re-launched the PKR website in June last year, we were keen to understand why customers who were visiting the site did not always go on to register. By utilising Maxymiser’s conversion management solutions we will now be able to see a direct correlation between website content and performance and this will help us to increase customer acquisition, which will have a significant impact on our bottom line.”

Prodger continues, “The combination of Maxymiser’s conversion management technology, consultancy services and account management made them the clear choice when we were looking for a partner. Through their managed service offering we are now able to test thousands of different variations in a live environment and analyse the results in real time, which we couldn’t have contemplated if we had taken this on in-house. Whilst other providers offer elements of what Maxymiser are providing us with, none were able to deliver to the same high level without us re-building the site to facilitate the testing.”

Maxymiser’s Multivariate testing (MVT) solution has been selected as the most effective means of scientifically measuring the impact of PKR’s homepage content and layout on visitors’ response. Multiple page layouts have been designed and approved by PKR ready to be tested with live visitors, and PKR is looking forward to seeing the impact of these changes on the number of visitors registering on PKR.com.
