Maxymiser and Privacy
At Maxymiser, we take privacy seriously. We actively participate in industry debate on the subject and we are committed to closely monitoring and following the highest applicable standards of privacy in the industry.
The key principals of our privacy policy are as follows:
- We only work with companies that adhere to the local law or regional guidelines in their territory regarding Data Protection. In the absence of local legislation, we require that customers adhere to the requirements of EU or US provisions.
- We identify patterns by processing behavioural data for our customers in an anonymous format. We do not link the data we process to the names of actual people.
- Data held or transmitted on the behalf of our customers is done so in a secure manner in line with the latest standards.
Maxymiser allows companies to optimise the performance of their websites. That might mean increasing free trial sign ups or increasing sales of products.
We deliver this increase through multivariate testing. Put simply, we show different variations of website content, monitor their performance and optimise the pages. This testing can be targeted according to a number of on and off-site factors.
By optimising our clients websites we help minimise cost of customer acquisition reducing wastage in their marketing and advertising spend giving them the potential to offer products at more competitive prices in the future.
Maxymiser helps clients ensure budgets are well targeted and that they are showing visitors the best possible content. In doing so we sometimes log data about website visitors relating to location (from IP address), the type of computer they are using and the website they visited prior to arriving with our client.
All of this data is used to track response and ensure that future people visiting with similar profile will see content that best suits them. We respect your privacy and we do not store this data in any personally identifiable manner. Our clients may also integrate their own customer data in order to improve targeting further. Maxymiser does not store this data in any personally identifiable manner and it is destroyed once a test is complete.
We do not store customer records for our clients although we do tell them more about the behaviour of their customers in order to ensure they are serving appropriate content to them with the best chance of converting them into buyers.
We adhere to the Data Protection Act in the UK and appropriate legislation elsewhere in the world when we engage in international projects. We do not sell or rent any email lists or other visitor data. We carry out testing using this data for our clients but do not pass it on to others.
