CURRENT POSITIONS

Technical Product Manager
Location: Edinburgh, U.K.
Direct Report: Managing Director, Maxymiser

The Technical Product Manager is a key role in the new company. Working closely with both the Sales Director, his team and the off shore development team, the Technical Product Manager will have a number of core responsibilities, including:

  • Translating the commercial requirements of clients into technical requirements for Maxymiser development team to implement.
  • Managing the effective implementation of the software and related processes/procedures.
  • Managing any necessary exchanges of information between Maxymiser and client's software in order to enable implementation of Maxymiser technology.
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation and where necessary, assist with any troubleshooting.
  • Maintain customer contact and daily status updates for all outstanding issues.
  • Fully understand and document customer requests, and assign appropriate resources.
  • Participating in technical documentation creation and software upgrades.

As this role is partly client facing, it is not a pure programming position. However, a strong appreciation or knowledge of programming is required, with a solid knowledge of HTML, web protocols, and product development in JavaScript being highly desirable.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Web analytics installation experience, preferably with a web analytics vendor.
  • Degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • Web development experience.
  • Demonstrable exceptional presentation skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Sense of urgency to trouble-shoot and find solutions for the client.
  • Understanding of enterprise internet business models and online processes, terminology, concepts, and strategies.

N.B. : Candidate must have either (1)technical and commercial experience from an on line venture / Internet based company, (2) Support representative in an on line marketing agency or ideally be working in the technical side of a web analytics company.

Business Development Manager
Location: London
Direct Report: Sales Director

Purpose of the Role:

To drive Maxymiser's rapid growth in the UK through sales of the Maxymiser suite of products and services. The individual will be given the opportunity to be one of the first members of a dynamic team focussed on winning and retaining business.

Responsibilities and Targets:

  • Identify potential clients for Maxymiser, present, negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop a sales pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue goals.
  • Produce sales and pipeline reports.
  • Produce proposals and other supporting documentation (with the help of other team members where applicable).
  • Contribute to the development of the Maxymiser product.
  • Co-ordinate with teams in Edinburgh and Ukraine where necessary.
  • The Business Development Manager typically works with both Marketing/Director level and C-level executives, thereby requiring strong relationship building skills and personal charisma.
  • Travel required.

Requirements:

  • Experienced business developer / sales manager.

  • Experience in the online market.
  • Ability to consultatively sell through understanding of prospects' goals and objectives.
