Tim was appointed CEO of Maxymiser in May 2009 after serving as a non-executive director since 2007. His last role in the online software industry was as CEO of behavioral targeting pioneer Touch Clarity culminating in its $60m acquisition by Omniture in 2007. Prior operational roles include technical design, sales and project management at INMOS Ltd, Surface Technology Systems plc, Leybold AG and the JET European Nuclear Fusion Program. He also served ten years as a Venture Capital investor with 3i and Alta Berkeley where his investments included STNC (Microsoft Inc), Cambridge Positioning Systems (CRS plc), Genera Technologies (Idexx Inc) and Improveline (Homeserve plc). Tim has a First Class degree in Physics, Manchester University and MBA, Cranfield School of Management.

A career-long technology and marketing entrepreneur, Mark Simpson is the Founder and President of Maxymiser. Among his many accomplishments in this role, Mark is attributed as the driving force behind the development and global launch of Maxymiser’s Customer Experience Optimization platform in 2006. Prior to Maxymiser, Mark was tasked with developing online marketing and business development initiatives for Travelport, where he led the acquisition and integration of ebookers, Octopus Travel, Hotel Club and RatesToGo. In addition to these responsibilities, Mark took it upon himself to guide and grow the business development, search marketing and PPC teams at Travelport. Prior to that, Mark was an integral member of the team who launched Hitwise in the UK market. Understanding that the online marketing and technology space is constantly evolving and growing, Mark is committed to contributing to the larger industry dialogue and sharing best practices at major conferences around the world, including Etail East, Shop.org, Forrester Customer Experience Forum and EyeForTravel, just to name a few. He graduated with a BCom Honours degree in Commerce from the University of Birmingham.

Joining Maxymiser in March 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, Javier Brage is a seasoned finance executive with over 20 years in the B2B and B2C space. Prior to Maxymiser, Javier held the role of CFO at VC-backed startup, Improveline, where his strategic vision and long-term planning helped grow the company from inception to £60m turnover within 5 years, prior to its acquisition by Homeserve plc where he served for two years. He has also served as CFO at Instant Offices, a leading online global services office broker, as well as holding senior financial positions at CMP Media and John Lewis (Peter Jones Department store). Javier graduated from Westminster University with Business Studies and is ACCA qualified (1996).

Nick Keating has over twenty years’ experience in successfully growing technology led professional service companies with experience in both CEO and COO roles. Nick joined Maxymiser in 2011 as Director of Client Services and became VP EMEA in November 2012. In his current role Nick has full responsibility for Maxymiser’s business operations across Europe including sales, marketing, client services and technical teams. Nick’s consulting and service expertise, combined with his experience in growing strategic partnerships, make him ideally positioned to drive Maxymiser’s international growth plans into the European markets.

As Vice President of Product, Jessy Schoss guides and defines the brand’s product strategy and roadmap in conjunction with the Engineering, Platform Operations and Strategic Solutions teams. With over 25 years of experience in enterprise software development, IT system management and telecommunications, Jessy understands that innovative technology products must go through continual testing, learning and enhancements. Prior to joining Maxymiser, he was Director of Product Management at VMware, where his ability to deliver an exemplary product helped quadruple revenue and ensure long-term revenue growth for the business. Jessy also led development of the flagship product at Integrien as the company’s VP of Product Management. He has also held various senior-level roles in research and development and product management at EMC, SMARTS and AVAYA, where he managed a wide range of IT domains and software/firmware technologies. Jessy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Technological Institute of Israel.

Pavel Kilovatiy joined Maxymiser in 2011 and is responsible for guiding all engineering and platform operations. Prior to joining Maxymiser, Pavel joined LBi in 2002 as an ecommerce solution architect where he was tasked with developing ecommerce SaaS platforms. In 2005, he acquired the hosting platform and client portfolio from LBi and formed UniTechnology, the ecommerce Saas platform built under Pavel’s leadership at UniTechnology. Pavel transitioned into the senior level role of CTO before taking on the interim position of CEO for the Venda Small Business division. The company was spun off in 2010 and rebranded as Powa, where Pavel took on the CTO role. Pavel holds a Masters of Science degree in in Applied Mathematics from Kharkiv National University.

A career long evangelist of online businesses, Mark is the commercial founder of Maxymiser and introduced its revolutionary Customer Experience Optimization platform to the market in 2006. Prior to Maxymiser, Mark headed up online marketing and business development for Travelport, focusing in particular on the acquisition and integration of ebookers, Octopus Travel, Hotel Club and RatesToGo. Latterly Mark headed-up the Business Development, Search and PPC teams for Travelport. Mark was previously part of the team that launched Hitwise in the UK market. Mark is a thought leader in the conversion marketplace, speaking globally at conferences and quoted regularly in the marketing press. He graduated with a BCom Honours degree in Commerce from the University of Birmingham.

Noah Walley

Noah Walley leads IGC’s Information Technology investing activities in North America. He joined Investor Growth Capital in 2003 as a Managing Director having previously spent five years as a General Partner with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in New York and has been working as a venture capitalist since 1994. Prior to that he spent four years with McKinsey & Company and began his career in investment banking with N M Rothschild & Sons in London. Noah works out of ICG’s New York office and focuses on software and technology-based services investments.Noah has served on over 25 private company Boards in the course of his career. He currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Antenna Software, Aternity, Foresee Results, Greenway Medical Technologies, Mindjet, Pulsepoint, ReCellular, Retail Solutions, Tangoe (NASDAQ: TNGO) and Venda. He previously served, amongst other companies, as a Director on the Boards of Constant Contact (NASDAQ: CTCT), Freightquote.com, Tallan (Acquired by CMGi), Visiprise (acquired by SAP) and Siperian (acquired by Informatica). Noah has a J.D. from Stanford Law School and earned M.A. and B.A. degrees (first class) from Oxford University
Marc Moens
Non Executive Director
After obtaining a PhD in Cognitive Science and Linguistics, Marc worked as a research fellow at the University of Edinburgh. His R&D interests were concerned with most areas of document management, including annotation standards like XML, text classification, information extraction, and text summarization. He left the University to co-found Rhetorical Systems, a text-to-speech company, and became its CEO. In December 2004 Rhetorical was sold to a US-based speech company. In 2008, Marc joined Pentech Ventures. Marc is also on the board of Hubdub ltd.
Bill Dobbie
Non Executive Director
Bill is an experienced entrepreneur and director specializing in internet, telecoms and technology businesses. He has led a number of successful private equity funded businesses and recently retired from a 7-year spell at Iomart PLC (IOM) spanning founder to non-exec positions. Bill has been a Director of Demon Internet, Prestel, Teledata, Scottish Telecom (Thus) and several other companies. His early career was with Unisys in the UK and Australia.  Bill has an Honours degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from the University of Glasgow.
